Modifications to your reservation

You are free to change the date of your activity at the discretion of Mundo Maya Scuba, subject to availability and weather conditions, with 48 hours notice.

Cancelation by the client

​

• If the client does not show up or cancel with less than 48 hours a lesson, a dive or snorkeling, or arrives while the activity has already begun, or stops before the end, no refund will be made unless an agreement was agreed between Mundo Maya Scuba and the customer before.

• For Christmas, New Year and Easter holidays, cancellations must be made 7 days before the start of the activity. If the customer cancels their activity with less than 7 days, the deposit will not be refunded and is not transferable to another person.

 

Cancellations due to illness or other medical problems that prevent the client from performing the activity

• Un certificat écrit d'un médecin local doit être fourni avec un prèavis de 48 heures et nous ferons tout notre possible pour reprogrammer l’activité sans coût supplémentaire. Si la reprogrammation de l’activité n’est pas possible, le client recevra un remboursement complet.

• Si le plongeur annule sa formation de plongée, le remboursement ne peut pas être fait pour la portion du e-Learning PADI ou les livres fournis.

Annulation by the company

• All our activities depend on the climate and Mundo Maya Scuba reserves the right to cancel an excursion under certain circumstances. In the event that Mundo Maya Scuba can not make the planned outing, we will suggest another alternative excursion or change the date of your activity. If the alternative solution is refused by the customer, Mundo Maya Scuba reserves the right to deduct the 7% administration fee due to  transaction costs.

Modifications of itinerary

Although every effort is made to respect dive schedules and itineraries, Mundo Maya Scuba reserves the right to modify the dive site itinerary at any time in the interest of the client or when we are forced for meteorological reasons. .

Mundo Maya Scuba will not be responsible in case of forced cancellation or a change in your trip due to a force majeure such as war, riot, civil strikes, labor dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire , adverse weather conditions, traffic jams or other external problems beyond the control of Mundo Maya Scuba.

Authority on the tour/ Exclusion from the tour

​

• The decision made by the driver, divemaster or instructor working at Mundo Maya Scuba will be final on any issues that could compromise the safety of the group.

• Mundo Maya Scuba will not be responsible for customers who commit an illegal or illegal act. The client could be excluded from an excursion, a tour or a course without reimbursement of the latter.

• If Mundo Maya Scuba considers that a customer is not suitable for an excursion, the dive center may refuse or cancel, at its sole discretion, the customer's reservation if this customer may endanger or cause nuisance or inconvenience to other guests .

• If guests are under the influence of alcohol or drugs prior to an excursion, tour or aquatic activity, the activity will be canceled without refund.

• We understand that sometimes diving is not for you or that your instructor decides that you need more training to complete your course. In this case, a dive dive PMT or the possibility of returning to a later date will be offered. All this is at the discretion of the monitor. No refunds will be made if you find that the dive is not for you or if the instructor recommends returning when you are more experienced and confident in the water.

​Payments

​

• Partial or full payment is required for diving tours, snorkeling tours, explotours and diving courses.

• A full payment is required for any booking on Cozumel tours, with whale sharks, with swordfish-sailfish or on the wreck of the C-56 Puerto Morelos.

• For Christmas, New Year and Easter, full payment is required for all bookings.

• The total amount of activity owed by the client to Mundo Maya Scuba, must be paid in full before starting any training, explotours or any dive excursion.

Medical requierements

​

The client acknowledges having taken note of the excursion or course and certifies that he is medically fit to participate, in good health and able to embark on the excursion or the court.

Any customer with a pre-existing medical problem or illness will have to declare the nature of the problem at the time of booking.

Any client with a medical problem will need to provide a doctor's certificate saying "you are fit to undertake an activity such as diving or snorkeling".

Mundo Maya Scuba and its representatives assure you that the information you provide will be treated with the utmost discretion.

Certification required for divers

​

Any customer booking a dive trip with Mundo Maya Scuba will have to show proof of certification (through their training agency) with the minimum level required to dive. If you can not provide us with this proof of your certification, unfortunately you will not be able to dive and lose your deposit.
